Weekly updates?


Over the past week or two I've been working on minor improvements to the game, trying to develop a habit of allocating at least a few hours each day. It hasn't been particularly successful, but I'm slowly getting there.

Perhaps maintaining a weekly devlog would be useful to keep myself motivated. Maybe you might even find it an interesting read.

I’ve just released a new update of the year. It includes improvements to interactions with items. Overall, it should now feel easier to pick up items and the sound effects for doing so should only be played only when you actually pick up the item.

Fireball has been reworked so that it can fly in all eight directions instead of just left or right. It’s speed and duration both have been slightly increased.


If you’ve read one of my earlier devlogs, you might be aware that I also had some plans for adding a skill tree and new sins. For now, I’ve postponed working on these features to focus on some more basic aspects. There are, however, a few little things that I would like to add, so we shall see what future brings...
